The principles guiding our impact and partnerships
Meaningful participation of all community members.
Fair access to resources, justice, and opportunity.
Ethical leadership and responsible governance.
Empowering indigenous women and girls as leaders.
Nonviolent conflict resolution and social cohesion.
Belief in women, youth, and community-driven change.
QPI is a women-led nonprofit working at the intersection of peacebuilding, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods within indigenous pastoralist communities of Northern Kenya’s Ewaso Nyiro Ecosystem.
Founded in 2008 and registered in 2018, QPI is headquartered in Isiolo County and driven by indigenous women who recognized that lasting peace must address climate vulnerability, poverty, insecurity, and inequality.
Through grassroots leadership, VSLAs, and collaborative partnerships, QPI continues to strengthen resilience, dignity, and sustainable futures.
